Manga High: Where Maths is Just a Game!

Following a successful trial, summer term sees the introduction of the games based learning tool Manga High into the mathematics courses at Net School. Used by over 5000 schools, Manga High has been developed with the support of Professor Marcus du Sautoy OBE of Oxford University.

Manga High uses competitive games to boost students’ engagement with maths. Divided into two sections, the website provides ‘Prodigy’ learning units for each aspect of the curriculum and arcade-style games covering key skills and topics. The games can be targeted on skills or offer more general revision. A favourite of our fantastic maths teacher Mrs Wilson is Pyramid Panic, which is a platform-style game covering geometry topics!

Students can log in to Manga High at any time and use the resources but will also be set homework activities by their maths teacher to work on between lessons.
