Studying Geography with Net School

In Year 9 Geography, students spend time exploring the power of water. They study the processes which create familiar landforms such as Niagara Falls and the Needles on the Isle of Wight.

The class watch videos on various processes and research rivers of their own choice, such as the Amazon, Danube, Rio Grande and Mekong delta.

One of their tasks during this topic is to make a model, in whatever materials they prefer, to show the various landforms that can be found along the length of a river. Here are some examples of our students' work, in plasticine, Lego, drawing and clay.
